successfully in a retail environment since 2001. We currently have stores operating in eastern
states of Australia including corporate, affiliates and franchises. An Urban Steel Studio provides a comfortable
income and interesting workplace for the motivated operator. We do not recommend this business opportunity
for the passive investor.
Urban Steel has never felt the need to
actively seek out new franchisees and thus does not have glossy colour
brochures or hard-sell material to send to prospective franchisee
customers. Our relationship with
franchisees is more along the lines of a handshake licence agreement. It is essentially a verbal arrangement based
on mutual respect and common sense with the need for very little to be put down
on paper. After the initial set-up
phase, you will be responsible for your own buying and the day-to-day running
of your business.

trade under the name Urban Steel with all the benefits and responsibilities
that entails.
The main benefit of an association
with Urban Steel is the experience gained from over 20 years in the Body Piercing
industry.
We have established very favourable
terms with most of our suppliers and are able to source all lines essential for
a successful Piercing Studio.
Urban Steel is best suited to the
hands-on owner-operator, preferably a person who has a love of body piercing in
addition to a level business head. It is not recommended in an investment-only
situation. A successful operator can expect an enjoyable business and a healthy
income.
